About
Now
I'm Matthew Clark. I build software for myself — small tools that do one thing on the first tap, and that I'd still want to open on a bad day.
That constraint rules out most of what software usually accumulates. No onboarding, no settings I'll never touch, no screen that exists to show me how much I haven't done. What's left is a tight grid, honest numbers, and a fast path from intention to record.
How I work
Prototype first, in whatever's fastest — usually a single HTML file. If it survives a week of real use, it earns a real build. If it doesn't, it was cheap to find out.
I'd rather ship something plain that works today than something considered that arrives next month.
